Bruce I. Nicholson, Attorney at Law, practice limited to Ohio Workers' Compensation Law. Mr. Nicholson was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on June 23, 1948. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1977. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1970, majoring in Political Science. Mr. Nicholson served in the U.S. Army as a military intelligence officer from July 1970 to July 1974, including a tour in the Republic of South Vietnam in 1972. He attended the University of Dayton School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 1977. Mr. Nicholson is a member of the Dayton, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Nicholson has represented injured and disabled workers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and in the courts of Ohio since 1977. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court and the United Stated Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has extensive experience representing persons with traumatic work place injuries, repetitive motion injuries and occupational diseases.
Mr. Nicholson is married, has two children and resides in Clayton, Ohio, north of Dayton.
